You MUST report all claims prior to leaving Mexico and crossing the border back into USA. Failure to file a claim prior to leaving Mexico will result in the DENIAL of your claim, the theft must also be reported to one of the Mexican authorities below. |

• It is MANDATORY to report any claims, before leaving Mexico, you must obtain a copy
of the adjuster’s report prior to leaving Mexico.

help you and give you step by step instructions on what to do in case of an accident or loss.
• Your Mxico Insurance underwriter will also help you if you need tourism information, towing service,
medical references, or travel assistance.

2. Follow the instructions of the claims associate carefully and step by step,
3. Call the police,
4. Exchange information with other driver (s)
5. Do NOT accept guilt,
6. Do not abandon the insured vehicle unless required to do so by reasons beyond control,
7. Do NOT offer or accept money to or from anyone,
8. Wait for the adjuster unless you where told otherwise by the staff in the claims cabin.

If your vehicle is stolen, immediately report the theft to your Insurance Provider.
All theft must be reported to the police in Mexico, Your insurance company will give you instructions, where the nearest police station is. Below is list of where you will need to report your vehicle loss
* Ministerio Público (District Attorney's Office)
* Policía Federal Preventiva (PFP - Federal Police)
* Seguridad Pública (Municipal police)
It is important that you inform the authorities in the city that the vehicle is registered that your vehicle was stolen in Mexico. Also contact your US or Canadian insurance provider.
